My Approach

Guided by my experiences as a gay and nonbinary person, I assist couples, adults, and teens navigating anxiety, depression, recovery and sobriety, relationship issues, and LGBTQIA community issues. I make therapy as collaborative as possible. With teens, I ally closely with parents to develop a plan that works to connect better at home and engage in sustainable change. With adults and couples, I use evidence-based methods to gain insight into your patterns, communicate effectively, and make sense of your life experiences in your larger family and societal context.

I'm part of the team at Resolution Counseling, and we want to make it easy to start therapy. I am in-network with Aetna, Meritain, Continental, Horizon, BCBS, Anthem, Empire, and 1199 plans. You can call us, email us, or click the Book Now button.

I see clients in person at our Jersey City office and can do telehealth across NJ. I work Monday to Friday and offer daytime and evening appointments. We have more than 60 therapists on staff, so if I’m not the right fit, I’m sure we can find a colleague who is. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
